Hey everyone ! It's been awhile since a journal update so I figured I would throw one out there. Everything on my end has been going great, with the exception of a little financial induced stress, but that cant really be helped. Im slowly improving my photography through more careful and deliberate technique and more careful and precise editing. Basically I have started holding myself to a higher standard and thus far I have really enjoyed the stuff i've been putting out alot more. I dont have to rely on crazy color manip to get that dynamic "wow" effect I so often try to achieve. Even if I do tend to overprocess some of my work, I still enjoy it more than anything and have no intention on changing my style. Im sticking to my guns and I really appreciate the support you guys have given thus far.

Speaking of which. A fellow deviant photographer has returned from a long hiatus and is back in action. You should check out his fantastic work here

I have also started submitting with a tad bit more regularity thanks to who I have been going on random shoots with. For the first time I really have someone to go shoot photos with and she is quite talented to boot

After a good talk with an old friend earlier tonight I have also began to realize even more how important close friends are. I strongly believe that people are not meant to be alone, which is why when you find someone you care about, its important to let the little things go. To forgive, forget and learn. Cherish those who love you and those you love

Now, you might be wondering about the title of this journal. The Abominable Charles Christopher is a wonderful webcomic I stumbled across thanks to one of todays daily deviations, which is actually a guest strip for that comic.



I read/have read alot of webcomics but this is by far one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of reading through. The comic itself is pretty humorous but still very touching series and one that should not be missed. If you are into webcomics, or even if you arent, I highly recommend it --> [link]

As with any endevour, you will always run into some tough spots along the way. More often than not in totally new and challenging ways. It helps to have good people behind you when those times come.
